Good mornting bizzies!
Happy Mondaaay!!! Hopefully everyone had a great weekend and are ready to tackle this last week of the first month this year. Resolutions still in check? As hard as it is for me to say no to sweets, seeing these amazing looks on the red carpet these last couple of weeks is helping me stay focused! So, yesterday was the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) Awards. The SAG awards is kind of like the prequel to the Oscars…if you will. The awards ceremony prides itself on being the predictor of the Oscars. And if that is true for the red carpet as well, I’m even more excited about the slayings thats going to go down at the next couple of award shows. Did anyone watch the show?? Unfortunately, I didn’t see the entire show, but I dare not miss the red carpet pre-show!! So, without further ado, here a some of my picks for best dressed…
Hey now it’s Ms. Joan Collins hunty giving us a little flashback with a bit of Alexis Carrington from Dynasty dahling! I looves this sequin number. She looks a-mazing!!
Next, Camilla Alves…a.k.a. Mrs. Mathew McConaughey is stunning in this deep purple number by Donna Karan. This deep purple color is everything! It adds the drama to the gown. Yaasss!!
Lupita, Lupita…strikes again! She looks stunning draped in this fabulous piece by Elie Saab. Her team keeps her fresh and at the top of the list of fashion conversations. Corn rows into a bun…on the red carpet! Weerk!!
I loves both the style and the color of this dress and her accessories. Yesterday was a beautiful day here in southern Cali, so why not rock tangerine and orange! Caitriona Balfe definitely pulled off a look that very few could.
Emmy Rossum looks absolutely adorable in this beautiful gown by Armani Prive. Loves!!
Orange is the New Black star Jackie Cruz looks gorgeous in this gold, sequined piece by super designer Christian Siriano.
Here she is again…Queen of the red carpet, Reese Witherspoon in Armani. Simply beautiful!
Gwendoline Christie in Giles. There’s nothing like giving drama in a haute red dress on the red carpet! A remixed version of old hollywood glam. Loves!
Loves the color of this beaded number worn by one of my red carpet favs, Julianne Moore. Pure sophistication!
Actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson also looked dapper in this unconventional tuxedo by Hickey Freeman.
Another red number on the red carpet. Kelly Cuoco-Sweeting in a haute number by designer Romona Kaveza.
Kelly Osborne looked cute and super slim in this two peice ensemble. Loves the animal print, hi-low skirt!
A neutral on the carpet! Loves this strapless, sweetheart neckline gown by Gemy Maalouf. Kimiko Glenn looks adorable! Good choice!
Natalie Dormer in Naeem Khan. I absolutely adore the floral print and colors on this one shoulder number.
Well done people!
A couple of weeks ago the Golden Globes happened and celebrities like Kate Hudson and Reese Witherspoon did not dissappoint. Since I didn’t do an official best dressed post, here are a couple of my absolute favorite looks:
Kate Hudson slayed the red carpet in this gorgeous piece by Versace. When I first saw her in this dressed all I could do is shake my head. I mean, this woman looks amazing. She did that!! I can’t wait to see what she wears on the red carpet next!
This was another look I loved. Actress Amy Adams looks stunning in this blue number, also by Versace. Old Hollywood glam all the way! Yaaasss!
Loves this gown by Givenchy Couture. Julianne Moore never seems to disappoint on the red carpet. Loves the details and the drama that the sequins and feathers create. Elegant and sophisticated.
And the winner is…..Reese killed it in this bling out number by Calvin Klein. Looooves!!! She couldn’t be more beautiful and elegant.
